WPIL Q4 net profit down 12.78% at Rs 40.19 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 40.19 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 46.08 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 12.78 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 44.29 per cent at Rs 201.14 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 361.02 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 49.15 per cent to Rs 150.80 crore from Rs 296.53 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 69.91 per cent at Rs 13.10 crore versus (Mar'25 Rs 7.71 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 21.93 per cent to Rs 50.35 crore as against Rs 64.49 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 40.15 per cent in March quarter.

Interest declined by 4.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 8.17 crore, while Taxation decreased by 23.54 per cent at Rs 12.08 crore (Mar'25 Rs 15.80 crore).
