Zinc futures gain on stronger spot demand

Zinc prices moved higher on Wednesday, climbing Rs 2.70 to Rs 251.05 per kilogram in futures trading, driven by a rebound in spot demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), May delivery contracts rose by 1.09%, with a trading volume of 2,316 lots.

According to market analysts, increased buying interest and position building by participants, spurred by improved demand from consuming industries, supported the upward movement in zinc prices.
