DLF tanks nearly 4% on plan to sell stake in DCCDL

Shares of DLF plummeted nearly 4 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after the realty major said that it has decided to sell 40 per cent stake in the company’s rental arm DCCDL in a deal worth Rs 12,500 crore-Rs 13,000 crore to Singapore-based private equity firm GIC.

Weighed down by the development, shares of company declined as much as 3.9 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 147.50 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

In a similar fashion, stocks of company fell 3.59 per cent to Rs 147.75 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,057.19, up 72.70 points, or 0.24 per cent, at 11:55 hours.
