HUL hits 52-week high ahead of Q4

Shares of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) rose over 0.6 per cent, hitting 52-week high, on the Bombay stock Exchange ahead of the fourth quarter earnings report due later today. According to analysts, improved volume growth post demonetization and better margins may boost march quarter earnings.

Ahead of Q4, shares of the company gained as much as 0.60 per cent to hit 52-week high of Rs 1005.10 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The scrip was currently trading at Rs 1004.00 against previous close price of Rs 998.15.

In a similar fashion, stocks of firm were trading 0.33 per cent higher at Rs 1,003.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 30,587.84, up 5.24 points or 0.02 per cent, at 12:10 hour.
