India’s Forex Reserves Decline by USD 2 Billion to USD 686 Billion

India's foreign exchange reserves fell by USD 2.065 billion, reaching USD 686.064 billion for the week ending May 2, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Friday.

This decline follows a rise of USD 1.983 billion in the previous week, which had pushed the reserves to USD 688.129 billion.

India’s forex reserves had previously hit a record high of USD 704.885 billion at the end of September 2024.
