Rubicon Research Limited has successfully completed the acquisition of Alkem Laboratories’ formulations manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, through an all-cash deal valued at Rs 149 crore.

Located within the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Pithampur, the facility is equipped for the production of steroids, hormones, and high-potency drugs, including immunosuppressants and oncology treatments. The site was inspected by the U.S. FDA in 2022, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.

The facility spans over 16,000 sq. m. of built-up area on a total plot size of more than 1,25,000 sq. m., offering significant scope for future expansion and scaling of operations.
