State-run power major NTPC announced on Thursday that its 3,300-MW Barh Super Thermal Power Project in Bihar will become commercially operational on July 1, with the commencement of commercial supply from Unit-3 (660 MW) under Stage-I.
The project, comprising four units of 660 MW each across Stage-I and Stage-II, has already seen the commissioning of all units. Unit-1 and Unit-2 were commissioned in November 2021 and July 2023, respectively.
