Copper prices declined by 0.72% to ?884.10 per kilogram in Wednesday’s futures trade, as traders trimmed their positions amid subdued demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for July delivery dropped by Rs 6.40 to Rs 884.10 per kg, with a trading volume of 8,575 lots.
Analysts said the decline was primarily driven by reduced interest from participants amid weak market sentiment.
