H&H Aluminium inaugurates India’s Largest Solar Panel Frame Manufacturing Facility in Rajkot, Gujarat

Gujarat-based H&H Aluminium Pvt Ltd has officially inaugurated India’s largest and most advanced aluminium solar panel frame manufacturing plant in the village of Chibhda, Rajkot. With an annual production capacity of 24,000 metric tons (MT), the facility is capable of supporting up to 6 Gigawatts (GW) of solar power installations across the country.

The plant was inaugurated by Shri C. R. Patil, Hon’ble Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, in the presence of senior government officials, H&H Aluminium's leadership team, and other dignitaries.

Spread over 28,000 square meters, the state-of-the-art facility represents an investment of approximately ?150 crore. It is among the most technologically advanced plants in the country dedicated to aluminium frames for solar panels. Trial production began in June 2025, with full-scale commercial operations expected to commence in the coming month.

At peak capacity, the facility is projected to generate annual revenues between ?700–750 crore and create employment opportunities for over 300 individuals, reinforcing H&H Aluminium’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing and India’s renewable energy goals.
