Silver prices advanced by Rs 328 to Rs 1,07,593 per kilogram in futures trade on Thursday, as traders ramped up their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for September delivery rose by 0.31% or Rs 328, registering a turnover of 16,939 lots.

Analysts attributed the price rise to fresh buying interest and increased positions by market participants.
