Gold prices fell by Rs 44 to Rs 99,357 per 10 grams in futures trade on Tuesday, pressured by subdued spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery dropped Rs 44, or 0.04 per cent, to Rs 99,357 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 13,451 lots.

Analysts said weak global cues also weighed on the precious metal.
