Aluminium prices gained 10 paise to Rs 250.75 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as traders built fresh positions, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for September delivery rose 10 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 250.75 per kg in 1,483 lots.
Analysts said the uptick was driven by renewed buying interest and steady demand from consuming industries, which supported prices in the futures market.
