Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports Invites Applications for 2025 National Sports Awards

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has invited online applications for the National Sports Awards 2025, which recognise excellence and contribution in the field of sports.

The awards include:

Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award for the most outstanding performance by a sportsperson.

Arjuna Award for consistent excellence in sports.

Arjuna Award (Lifetime) for lifetime contribution to sports development.

Dronacharya Award for coaches producing medal winners at prestigious international events.

Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar (RKPP) for corporate entities, NGOs, or organisations that promote sports.

Eligible sportspersons, coaches, and organisations can apply exclusively online through the portal www.dbtyas-sports.gov.in

. The last date for submission is 28th October 2025 (11:59 pm).
