Guar seed prices eased in futures trade on Tuesday, tracking ample supplies from growing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery declined by Rs 64, or 0.70 per cent, to Rs 5,994 per quintal, with open interest at 60,295 lots.
Market participants said the increase in arrivals from producing areas weighed on prices, leading to the downward trend in guar seed futures.
