Aluminium Futures Edge Higher on Fresh Buying

Aluminium prices rose marginally in the futures market on Friday as traders built fresh positions amid a firm trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium for January delivery gained 50 paise, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 315.70 per kg, with a trading volume of 1,336 lots.

Meanwhile, the February contract was trading flat at Rs 318.15 per kg, with a turnover of 3,726 lots on the commodities bourse.
