Copper Futures Rise on Improved Spot Demand

Copper futures traded higher on Friday, supported by increased demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for January delivery rose by Rs 5.30, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 1,278.35 per kg, with a trading volume of 9,058 lots.

Similarly, the February contract gained Rs 4.10, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 1,307.40 per kg, with a turnover of 12,493 lots.
