Guar Gum Futures Slip Nearly 1% on Weak Demand

Guar gum prices declined in the futures market on Friday as traders offloaded positions amid weakness in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 106, or 0.99 per cent, to Rs 10,610 per quintal, with a trading volume of 51,535 lots.

The contract had settled at Rs 10,716 per quintal in the previous session.
