Rupee rebounds 10 paise from record low to 91.80 against US Dollar

The rupee rebounded from its record low and strengthened by 10 paise to trade at 91.80 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, supported by a pullback in the dollar index from elevated levels.

Forex dealers said the local currency recovered modestly as traders moved to cover positions amid broad-based dollar weakness.

At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 91.80 against the greenback, higher than its previous close.
