Passenger vehicle dispatches rise 13% in January on strong demand: SIAM

Domestic passenger vehicle dispatches from manufacturers to dealers increased 13 per cent year-on-year to 4,49,616 units in January, driven by robust demand and price benefits following GST rate rationalisation, according to SIAM.

Dispatches stood at 3,99,386 units in January 2025. The growth in passenger vehicle sales was primarily supported by strong demand for utility vehicles, which continued to drive overall market momentum.
