Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Spot Demand

Zinc prices on Monday edged higher by 75 paise to Rs 326.65 per kg in futures trade, supported by firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for April delivery increased by 75 paise, or 0.23 percent, to Rs 326.65 per kg, with a business turnover of 53 lots.

Traders said fresh positions built by market participants and improved spot demand supported the rise in zinc futures.
