Aluminium futures jump over 2.5% on fresh buying interest

Aluminium futures witnessed a strong uptick on Monday, rising nearly 2.61% to Rs 350 per kg as traders built fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery gained Rs 8.90, reaching Rs 350 per kg across 48 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise to renewed buying by participants, supported by steady demand from key consuming industries, which boosted sentiment in the futures market.
