Copper futures edge higher on improved spot demand

Copper futures moved higher on Monday, gaining Rs 4.10 to trade at Rs 1,171.80 per kg, supported by stronger demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery rose by 0.35% in a turnover of 177 lots.

Market analysts noted that the uptick was driven by increased participation and fresh buying interest from traders, reflecting positive sentiment in the market.
