Gold futures rise on strong spot demand

Gold futures edged higher on Monday, gaining Rs 518 to Rs 1,44,800 per 10 grams as traders built fresh positions amid firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for April delivery increased by 0.36%, with a turnover of 25 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise to renewed buying interest, supported by positive demand trends in the physical market
