Silver slides Rs 2,577 to Rs 2.38 Lakh/kg in Futures Trade

Silver prices declined sharply on Friday, falling Rs 2,577 to Rs 2.38 lakh per kilogram amid weak trends and subdued investor demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for May delivery dropped Rs 2,577, or 1.07%, to Rs 2,38,936 per kg.

Analysts attributed the fall to losses in global markets, which weighed on domestic silver prices.
