Silver futures decline to Rs 2,43,819/kg on profit booking

Silver futures dropped by Rs 817 to Rs 2,43,819 per kilogram on Monday, as market participants trimmed their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, May delivery contracts fell 0.33% to Rs 2,43,819 per kg, with a turnover of 1,098 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline primarily to selling pressure and profit booking by traders.
