Crude oil futures rise to Rs 9,097/barrel on strong demand

Crude oil futures climbed by Rs 280 to Rs 9,097 per barrel on Monday, driven by increased buying amid firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, May delivery contracts rose 3.18% to Rs 9,097 per barrel, with a trading volume of 5,294 lots.

Analysts said the uptick was supported by fresh positions built by participants, keeping prices elevated in futures trade.
