Guar gum futures fell by Rs 81 to Rs 10,911 per quintal on Monday, as traders reduced holdings amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, May delivery contracts slipped 0.74% to Rs 10,911 per quintal, with trading volume of 47,415 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to subdued demand in the physical market along with ample supplies from producing regions, which weighed on prices.
