Copper futures rise to Rs 1,299.35/kg on strong spot demand

Copper futures climbed by Rs 6 to Rs 1,299.35 per kg on Monday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, May delivery contracts gained 0.46% to Rs 1,299.35 per kg, with a turnover of 3,487 lots.

Analysts said the uptick was driven by increased positions built by market participants.
