Aluminium futures edge higher on fresh buying

Aluminium futures rose on Monday as traders increased fresh positions, supported by positive sentiment in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery gained Rs 1.75, or 0.46%, to Rs 380 per kg, with trading volume at 1,337 lots.

Analysts said improved demand from consuming industries and fresh buying activity by market participants lifted aluminium prices in futures trade.
