Amit Shah launches Gandhinagar Development Projects worth Rs 620 crore

Amit Shah on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple civic and infrastructure projects worth around Rs 620 crore under the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation in Gujarat.

The event was attended by Bhupendra Patel along with other dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, Shah said the projects are aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure and improving public amenities in Gandhinagar.

He stated that Gujarat’s development journey, initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister, continues to progress steadily. Shah added that the government’s development-focused approach has contributed to strong public support in local body elections across the state.

The Union Home Minister also highlighted the party’s performance in recent civic polls in Gujarat, saying it secured victories across municipal corporations, municipalities, district panchayats, and taluka panchayats.

Speaking about the party’s grassroots efforts, Shah said workers played an important role during the COVID-19 pandemic by assisting citizens with healthcare, testing, and vaccination support despite personal risks.

He further referred to the party’s recent electoral success in West Bengal and said public participation at Prime Minister Modi’s rallies reflected growing support for the party in the state.
