Guar Gum futures decline on weak demand and ample supply

Guar gum prices moved lower in futures trade on Thursday as traders reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the physical market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for June delivery fell by Rs 27, or 0.24%, to Rs 11,425 per quintal, with a trading volume of 31,130 lots.

Market sentiment remained weak due to sluggish demand and adequate supplies from key producing regions, which continued to weigh on guar gum prices.
