The Ministry of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), has launched AIR SUVIDHA 2.0, an upgraded digital health self-declaration portal for international travellers to strengthen Ebola screening at India's points of entry.
The portal enables passengers arriving from abroad to submit a mandatory online health declaration, including their 21-day travel history, exposure details, and symptoms, before immigration clearance. It also facilitates real-time data sharing with health and immigration authorities, enabling faster identification and screening of at-risk travellers.
Passengers can complete the Self-Declaration Form (SDF) up to 24 hours before arrival in India and are advised to submit it before boarding to ensure faster and contactless clearance at airports. The initiative has been launched in response to the WHO-declared Ebola outbreak in parts of Africa and aims to strengthen India's public health surveillance.
