Dr Reddy’s launches Generic Sugammadex Injection in the US

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has launched the generic version of Sugammadex Injection in the United States, expanding its portfolio of injectable products in the key overseas market.

The company introduced Sugammadex Injection 200 mg/2 mL and 500 mg/5 mL single-dose vials, the generic equivalent of Bridion, which is used to reverse the effects of certain muscle relaxants administered during surgery.

Bridion is a registered trademark of Merck Sharp & Dohme BV. The launch is expected to strengthen Dr Reddy’s presence in the US generics market.
