Copper futures rise 0.19% to Rs 1,395.40 per kg on strong demand

Copper prices advanced Rs 2.65, or 0.19%, to Rs 1,395.40 per kg in futures trading on Monday, supported by firm demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for September delivery climbed Rs 2.65 to Rs 1,395.40 per kg, with a business turnover of 2,842 lots.

Analysts said increased buying interest and fresh bets by market participants supported the rise in copper futures.
