RBI accepts Rs 1.53 lakh crore in 3-Day VRRR auction at 5.24%

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) accepted Rs 1,52,537 crore in its three-day Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction held on August 28, 2026.

Against the notified amount of Rs 3 lakh crore, the RBI received offers worth Rs 1,52,537 crore and accepted the entire amount.

The cut-off rate and weighted average rate stood at 5.24%. The auction was conducted for a three-day tenor.
