Coriander futures gain 2.31% on strong spot demand

Coriander futures prices rose Rs 334, or 2.31%, to Rs 14,824 per quintal on Thursday, supported by strong demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), coriander contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 14,824 per quintal, with 23,235 lots changing hands.

Market analysts attributed the rise to higher spot-market demand and restricted supplies from producing regions, which provided support to coriander prices.
