Gold futures decline to Rs 1,51,128 per 10 grams on weak spot demand

Gold futures fell Rs 171, or 0.11%, to Rs 1,51,128 per 10 grams on Thursday, weighed down by subdued demand in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold contracts for October delivery declined Rs 171 to Rs 1,51,128 per 10 grams, with 867 lots changing hands.

Market analysts attributed the decline in gold prices to weaker spot demand, which weighed on buying sentiment in the futures market.
