Silver futures fall to Rs 2.35 lakh per kg as traders cut positions

Silver futures declined Rs 1,249, or 0.53%, to Rs 2,34,646 per kg on Thursday, pressured by reduced buying interest and selling by market participants.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery fell Rs 1,249 to Rs 2,34,646 per kg, with 2,161 lots traded.

Market analysts said profit-taking and a sell-off by participants weighed on silver prices in the futures market.
