Crude oil futures rise Rs 78 to Rs 8,903 per barrel on global cues

Crude oil futures rose Rs 78, or 0.88%, to Rs 8,903 per barrel on Thursday, tracking a positive trend in global markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil contracts for September delivery gained Rs 78 to Rs 8,903 per barrel, with 6,196 lots traded.

Market analysts said increased buying interest and fresh positions by participants supported crude oil prices in the futures market.
