Aluminium futures prices fell by Rs 2.80, or 0.84%, to Rs 328.80 per kg on Tuesday, as traders trimmed their positions amid weak cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for October delivery declined Rs 2.80 to Rs 328.80 per kg, with a business turnover of 799 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to reduced demand from consuming industries, which weighed on aluminium prices in the futures market.
