Copper futures fall 0.09% on muted domestic demand

Copper futures prices declined by Rs 1.35, or 0.09%, to Rs 1,421.75 per kg on Monday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for October delivery slipped Rs 1.35 to Rs 1,421.75 per kg, with a trading volume of 2,237 lots.

Traders attributed the decline to weak demand from domestic consuming industries, which weighed on copper prices in the futures market.
