Guar gum futures rise on firm demand

Guar gum futures prices rose by Rs 302, or 1.92%, to Rs 16,063 per quintal on Thursday, supported by firm spot demand and increased speculative positions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for November delivery traded at Rs 16,063 per quintal, with an open interest of 77,310 lots.

Market analysts attributed the rise in prices to increased bets by traders amid a firm trend in the physical market.
