Gold futures rebound Rs 2,041 to Rs 1.47 lakh per 10 grams

Gold futures rebounded by Rs 2,041, or 1.4%, to Rs 1,47,889 per 10 grams on Thursday, recovering from a three-session decline as value buying and a weaker US dollar revived demand for the precious metal.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures for December delivery climbed to Rs 1,47,889 per 10 grams.

The recovery followed a cumulative decline of Rs 5,651, or nearly 4%, over the previous three sessions from Rs 1,51,499 per 10 grams on October 9.
