Silver prices fell by Rs. 3,534, or 1.89%, to Rs. 1,83,606 per kg in futures trade on Friday as traders reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery recorded a business turnover of 3,221 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to selling pressure from market participants.
