MakeMyTrip on Friday announced the acquisition of a majority stake in technology-led shared mobility platform Quick Ride for an undisclosed amount.
The investment will help MakeMyTrip expand into the shared mobility and ride-pooling segment, complementing its existing ground transportation business.
Headquartered in Bengaluru, Quick Ride operates an asset-light platform that connects commuters travelling along similar routes, offering affordable ride-pooling solutions for daily travel.
