Benchmark stock indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher on Wednesday after three days of decline tracking a rally in global markets.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80926.16 up by 188.65 points or by 0.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24600.45 up by 57.95 points or by 0.24 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80967.68 and intraday low of 80705.18 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24612.75 and intraday low of 24530.45

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1868.00,+1.44%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1562.60,+1.23%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 808.35,+1.01%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12248.30,+1.00%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 710.00,+0.92%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1656.70,-0.66%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 326.10,-0.65%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3503.70,-0.49%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2245.65,-0.45%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3392.60,-0.37%), among others.
