Indian benchmark indices were trading higher today, buoyed by buying in auto, and IT stocks.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80919.23 up by 181.72 points or by 0.23 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24604.05 up by 61.55 points or by 0.25 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80973.21 and intraday low of 80705.18 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24612.75 and intraday low of 24530.45

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 244.35,+2.84%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1878.15,+1.99%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 814.00,+1.72%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1558.40,+0.96%), HDFC Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1939.25,+0.73%), among others.
