Indian benchmark indices gave up early gains after surging over 1 per cent on Tuesday on reports of a breach in Iran-Israel truce, just hours after it was agreed upon.

At 14:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82072.39 up by 175.6 points or by 0.21 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25070.55 up by 98.65 points or by 0.4 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 83018.16 and intraday low of 81900.12 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25317.7 and intraday low of 24999.7

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1391.60,+2.76%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 2220.65,+1.64%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 11613.15,+1.46%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 154.60,+1.41%), State Bank of India (Rs. 795.95,+0.73%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 286.35,-1.36%), NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 329.70,-1.20%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 832.10,-0.99%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1446.95,-0.65%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1694.00,-0.54%), among others.
