Indian equities broke their six-day winning streak on Friday, trading lower as major laggards in the Sensex index included Asian Paints, ITC, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, HCLTech, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, which declined by up to 1.8 per cent.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81319.87 down by -680.84 points or by -0.83 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24900.05 down by -183.7 points or by -0.73 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81993.61 and intraday low of 81318.78 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25084.85 and intraday low of 24893.1

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2510.80,-2.18%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 397.55,-2.02%), UltraTech Cement Ltd. (Rs. 12635.85,-1.78%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1983.25,-1.70%), HCL Technologies Ltd. (Rs. 1467.80,-1.68%), among others.
