Indian benchmark indices continued to trade higher for the eighth straight session on Friday, on track to end the week on a strong note.

At 14:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81904.07 up by 355.34 points or by 0.44 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25119 up by 113.5 points or by 0.45 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81992.85 and intraday low of 81641.38 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25139.45 and intraday low of 25038.05

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 1002.20,+3.30%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (Rs. 2081.50,+2.21%), Axis Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1105.55,+1.66%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15318.90,+1.47%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 715.70,+1.40%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 322.20,-1.78%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2582.60,-1.48%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 742.65,-0.77%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 3569.65,-0.43%), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1906.00,-0.35%), among others.
